Rafflerepublic.com is the website of Richmond Parker Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom (company number: 12110323 with registered address at Kemp House, 160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX).  Any reference in this notice to “Raffle Republic”, “we”, “us” or“our” is to Richmond Parker Ltd.

This website is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect data about under 18s.  If you are under 18 please do not provide us with your personal information.  If you believe that a child who is under 18 has provided personal details to us, please contact us and we will seek to delete that data from our systems.

Most of the personal information we collect is provided to us directly by you when you register with Raffle Republic or otherwise when you directly interact with us (when using our website or otherwise).  We may process your personal data for more than one lawful basis depending on the specific purpose for which we are using it.  We will only use your personal data where we have a lawful basis to use it.

We may ask you for photographic ID in order to verify your identity and detect fraud.  We may also ask you to provide photographic ID when you win a prize. You do not have to give us any of the personal data set out above but, if you do not provide us with certain information, we may not be able to provide you with the services you have requested from us.

Information received from third parties

We sometimes obtain information about you indirectly from other sources such as:

  • Google or Facebook if you sign up or sign in to your account on our website using your G+ or Facebook account.
  • Technical data from analytics providers such as Google.

Third party companies have their own privacy notices explaining how they use and share your data.  We do not control these third party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.  When you leave our website, you should review these notices prior to engaging with the third party to make sure you are happy with them.

Sharing your data

We do not share your personal data with any third parties for them to market their products / services to you.  If in future we decide that we want to, we will only do so if we have your consent.

We may however share all or part of this data with trusted third party agents, suppliers / providers to help us deliver our products and services to you in the most effective way possible.  When we do share your data with these third parties, we only provide the information they need to perform the service and are subject to suitable obligations relating to confidentiality and security.  Some examples of the categories of third parties with whom we share your data are:

  • Companies that help us fulfil your entries and, where required, get your prizes to you, such as payment processing companies, draw service providers and delivery couriers.
  • Professional service providers such as website hosting providers, system providers, website analytics providers, advertisers who help us run our business.
  • Law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, so that we can help tackle fraud.

We may share your data with supplier partners, if we engage them to supply goods and services on our behalf.

We may share your data with marketing companies to help us manage and / or send electronic communications to you or to carry out customer reviews, surveys and analytics on our behalf (to the extent you have not unsubscribed).

We may also share your personal data in connection with a business transition (such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or a sale of all of or portion of our assets). In these circumstances, we may need to share your personal data with a prospective buyer and external professional advisors such as accountants, insurers, lawyers or financial institutions.

When we are no longer required to keep your personal data, your data will either be deleted or we will securely render it anonymous so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for business planning and analysis purposes.

We adopt industry standard security processes to ensure your data is kept safe and secure and to prevent unauthorised access or use or loss of your data. By way of example, we use secure server software (EV SSL), which encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us.  We also make sure that third parties who need to handle your data when helping us to deliver our services are subject to suitable confidentiality and security standards.

Despite the security measures we implement, please be aware that the transmission of data via the internet is not completely secure.  As such, we cannot guarantee that information transmitted to us via the internet will be completely secure and any transmission is at your own risk.

Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.  You may be able to do this in certain cases yourself by logging into your account on the Raffle Republic website.

You are not required to pay a charge for exercising your rights.  However, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee when a request is manifestly unfounded, it is excessive or repetitive (e.g. an individual requests further copies of their data following a request).  If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.  We also reserve the right to refuse to comply with a manifestly unfounded or excessive request.

How to opt-out of Raffle Republic marketing

You can opt-out of Raffle Republic marketing at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or by using the opt-out function detailed in the relevant marketing email.  Please note that you may continue to receive communications which are already on route to you for a short period of time while your relevant unsubscribe request is being processed.

We do not pass your data onto any third parties for their marketing purposes. However, if we ever wish to do so in the future we will always get your consent.  You can then opt-out from any third party marketing at any time following the same process as above.

Changes to this privacy notice and your duty to inform us of changes

We reserve the right to change this privacy notice when necessary, from time to time or as may be required by law.  Any changes will be immediately posted on our website and you are deemed to have accepted the terms of the privacy notice on your first use of the website after changes have been posted.
