The following Terms and Conditions apply to all entrants of all prize ticket competitions displayed on our website: www.rafflerepublic.com
“Raffle Republic” or the “promoter” or “us” or “we” or “our(s)” operate skilled prize ticket competitions resulting in the allocation of prizes in accordance with the Terms and Conditions published on our website.
Qualifying persons
By joining Raffle Republic and ticking the appropriate box upon checking out, the “entrant” or “you” confirm that you are 18+ years of age. Raffle Republic directors, management, employees, partners, as well as all their respective family members are NOT eligible.
Legal undertaking
By entering a prize ticket competition you will be deemed to have legal capacity to do so and that you have read, understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and to the Privacy Notice and that you are bound by them.
The prize ticket competition(s) are open to anyone aged 18+ in any country in the world, as long as it is legally authorised in the entrant’s country of residence.
All prize ticket competitions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Your Raffle Republic account
To enter a prize ticket competition you will need to create a Raffle Republic account. You will be asked to provide us with your name, surname, mobile and/or landline telephone number and email address or sign up with a social media account such as Facebook or Google (G+).
You can only have one (1) unique user name and one (1) unique email address associated to your Raffle Republic account.
How to enter our prize ticket competitions
- Sign-up or Sign in to your Raffle Republic account.
- Select the prize ticket competition(s) and / or the type of offer you wish to enter, select the amount of tickets you wish to purchase, answer the skill question correctly and select a charity that you would like to support from our charities panel, then go to checkout.
- Upon checking out, you must tick the box that confirms that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice.
- Once your payment is completed, an email will be sent to the email address you have provided us with. This email (and its content) will confirm that you have entered your selected prize ticket competition(s) and your purchased ticket(s) number(s).
Prize ticket competition and ticket regulations
One (or more) prize ticket competition(s) may be operated on our website at the same time and each prize ticket competition will have its displayed prize, its displayed ticket availability and its ticket purchase price.
Ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of twenty (20) per account, per prize ticket competition.
There may be one or more types of offers for the same prize ticket competition. The difference between these types of offers, are in the ticket pricing, as well as the total number of tickets available for sale.
Not all prize ticket competitions start on a commencement date and end on a closing date. Some will start on a commencement date but will end only when all tickets are sold out. This will automatically trigger the draw date.
Each type of offer may have a different commencement date and closing date to other offers as displayed on our website.
No refunds policy or consumer ‘cooling off’ rights are applicable to this agreement as it is strictly for leisure and entertainment activities with a specific date for performance.
By entering any prize ticket competition and in the case you are the first prize winner, you authorise Raffle Republic to reveal your full name (or initials), your county of residence or your country of residence if consented. In addition, we may eventually ask you to send us a photographic image of yourself with your prize for promotional and marketing purposes on our website and / or social media accounts available now and in the future. You do not have to send us your image. If you do, please note that by submitting a photo of you to us, you consent to us using your image as stated. If you wish to remove your consent for this purpose, please contact us as per our Privacy Notice.
Draw procedures and winning tickets
Official draws shall take place within ninety-six (96) hours after each prize ticket competition has reached to the least ninety-five (95) per cent of sold tickets. This will be officially stated and displayed on the Raffle Republic website.
Each prize ticket competition draw for the winning tickets is held through a third party company.
There are four (4) winners for each prize ticket competition (to the exception of the Instagram or Facebook giveaway offers where there is only one winning ticket) split as follows:
First prize: The main prize of the prize ticket competition.
Second prize: Five (5) per cent of the suggested retail value of first prize in cash.
Third prize: Two and a half (2.5) per cent of the suggested retail value of first prize in cash.
Fourth (‘consolation’) prize: One (1) free ticket of same value to enter any prize ticket competition available on our website.
The winning tickets will be displayed on our website.
Raffle Republic management shall contact the winners via telephone and shall send an email of congratulations to the winner’s email address provided upon signing up.
It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure all required contact details are accurately provided.
Raffle Republic shall not be held responsible if and for any reason whatsoever, the entrant has entered incorrect or false contact details.
Raffle Republic may, at any time, and at its sole discretion, extend the time of any prize ticket competition. The maximum time extension for any prize ticket competition shall be of thirty (30) days, per extension period.
The draw will take place after the extension period has ended, provided that at least ninety-five (95) per cent of the tickets of that prize ticket competition are sold.
In the event that one or any of the prize ticket competitions have not reached at least ninety-five (95) per cent of sold tickets after the extension time, Raffle Republic will terminate the prize ticket competition(s) offer(s) and credit back the entrant’s of the full amount paid, less debit or credit card transaction fees.
Winners announcement – prize collection procedure
The winners of a prize ticket competition are announced on the Raffle Republic website. The winners of the first prize will be asked to consent to disclose their full name (or initials), county of residence or country of residence. In addition, we may eventually ask you to send us a photographic image of yourself with your prize for promotional and marketing purposes on our website and / or social media accounts available now and in the future. You do not have to send us your image. If you do, please note that by submitting a photographic image of yourself to us, you consent to us using your image as stated. If you wish to remove your consent for this purpose, please contact us as per our Privacy Notice.
The winner(s) have a time period of ten (10) working days to claim their prize and provide us with copy of a valid ID.
The first prize winner (UK and EU residents) receives the Prize with VAT paid in full, prize fully guaranteed by manufacturer or distributor and delivery cost (up to a maximum 20 kilograms package) paid in full. Anywhere else in the world, the first prize winner receives the prize with VAT paid in full, prize fully guaranteed by manufacturer or distributor and delivery cost (up to a maximum 20 kilograms package) paid in full. However, it is the winner’s responsibility to arrange, and to pay for, any additional taxes (such as import tax and / or additional VAT and / or any additional costs) as required by law in the country of residence of the winner. The second prize is delivered to the second prize winner via Bank transfer or Paypal. The third prize is delivered to the third prize winner via Bank transfer or Paypal. The fourth (‘consolation’) prize is sent via email as coupon code to apply on the Raffle Republic website.
In the event that Raffle Republic management are unable to contact one of the prize winners, or if any of the four prize winners of any prize ticket competition fail to provide Raffle Republic with copy of a valid ID within the claim period of ten (10) working days, Raffle Republic will declare the official draw for first and / or second and / or third and / or fourth prize as void. Raffle Republic will then authorise a new draw for the first and / or second and / or third and / or fourth prize of that specific prize ticket competition. This will allow the new certified winner(s) to receive the allocated prize(s).
Raffle Republic will not accept any claims from the prior winner(s) for such doing.
If for any reason whatsoever, the certified winner of the first prize is unable to collect the prize, the winner may opt for the cash equivalent option.
First prize cash equivalent option: is of seventy (70) per cent of the suggested retail value of first prize.
All prizes are provided ‘as is’ and are subject to availability. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no promises or any guarantee as to quality and / or suitability.
Leisure prizes are valid in calendar months and days that are considered off peak holiday seasons and may not be valid during the time of a major popular event (e.g. sporting events, music festivals etc.) except where it is stated.
Charity support
Twice per calendar year, Raffle Republic selects different charities that it supports on a percentage basis from all Raffle Republic prize ticket competitions net income.
Twenty (20) per cent of all Raffle Republic prize ticket competitions net income will be donated to the charity cause the entrants have opted for.
Breaches of Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions
You will be in complete breach of Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions if you sign-up with more than one name and more than one account.
You will be in complete breach of Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions if you sign-up with more than one email address and / or Facebook or Google account and / or any other social media account(s) available now or in the future.
You will be in complete breach of Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions, if you provide us with incorrect or false identity and / or provide us with an incorrect or false address and / or provide us with an incorrect or false mobile and / or landline telephone number(s) and / or provide us with an unauthorised or stolen credit / debit card details.
You will be in complete breach of Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions, if you let someone else other than yourself use your rafflerepublic.com account. Your rafflerepublic.com account is personal and can only be used by you.
If any of the above-mentioned breaches are detected before the official prize competition draw date, you will be precluded from all prize ticket competitions you have entered and no refunds shall be claimed.
If any of the above-mentioned breaches are detected after the prize draw and that you are the winner of any prize, your winning ticket will be automatically invalidated and no refunds shall be claimed. A new draw will take place and a new winning ticket shall be drawn. The new winner will therefore be declared as the prize competition winner of the prize you have been deprived of.
Raffle Republic can revoke any entrant and void any entrant’s ticket(s) if it has reasonable grounds to believe that entrant has not followed the instructions or has breached Raffle Republic Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of liability
Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not be responsible or liable under any circumstances whatsoever, in compensating any entrant. Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not accept any responsibility or liability for any losses of any nature, damage or personal injury and / or death as a result of signing-up, submitting an entry or purchasing one or more tickets from our prize ticket competition offers.
Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not accept any liability for errors or omissions enclosed in the description of any prize awarded or prize value as part of any of the prize ticket competitions on the website, or any other description displayed on the Raffle Republic website. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that all details disclosed on the website are accurate and are to the entrant satisfaction.
Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not be responsible or liable for events beyond its reasonable control and expectations such as, but not limited to: force majeure, strike, war, lockout, fire, flood, failure or damages of any network, or telecommunication service(s) or provider(s).
Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not be liable for the failure and / or damage or destruction to all or part of its computing systems, hardware, software or server(s) including and without any limitation to its website as a whole and / or to its website’s back office.
Raffle Republic and / or its representatives shall not be liable for any losses caused to the entrant or other persons related to the entrant for malfunction of its equipment such as, but not limited to: computer desktop, or laptop, WiFi connection(s) or mobile technology such as, but not limited to: mobile or satellite phone(s), pad(s) and / or mobile or satellite phone connection(s) and / or network(s).
General
Raffle Republic reserves the right to suspend, postpone, and / or cancel any prize ticket competition at any moment in time, before or after the entrant has paid for ticket(s). Whenever a prize ticket competition is cancelled, Raffle Republic shall credit the entrants of full amount paid, less debit or credit card transaction fees.
Raffle Republic reserves the right to make all reasonable amendments to these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Such amendments shall be published on the Raffle Republic website and shall therefore be effective from the day of publishing.
LIMITATIONS OF USE
You are hereby restricted from all of the following when using the Website:
- Publishing any Website material in any media;
- Selling, sub-licensing and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;
- Publicly performing and/or showing any Website material;
- Using this Website in any way that is, or may be, damaging to this Website;
- Using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website;
- Using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in a way that causes, or may cause, harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity;
- Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting or any other similar activity in relation to this Website, or while using this Website;
- Using this Website to engage in any advertising or marketing;
